Congratulations to the successful Shanbally hurling team who won the Carrigdhoun Hurling blitz hosted by Shamrocks last Friday. The team consisted of Adam McSweeney (captain), Mark Sisk, Charlie O Brien, Michael Foy, Dara McCormick, Darragh Hayes, Tim Sheehan, Philip Dorney, Aidan Brady, Daniel O Brien, Eoin O Flynn, Ferdia Hayes, John Coleman and Robert Barrett. They had great wins against Gurrane, Dunderrow, Summecove and Ringaskiddy to win the shield. Well done to all the lads for their great effort. Well deserved.
